Ten years later. It's amazing to be writing this blurb and realizing a whole decade has passed since three kids walked into a studio to record 15 songs they had written together. We had next to no budget when we did this record. The entire album was recorded in two and a half days, and mixed during the last half of that third day. In all, it cost $700 to record.
We were young, broke, and a little dumb, and we never actually had the album mastered. So we decided, why not give the album a mastering job and boost up the sound quality a little? Technically, I suppose this isn't a remaster, since we never mastered it in the first place.
So here it is, A Declaration Of Intent - Mastered Edition. We went back and fixed the spacing between songs a little, did a cross-fade between Corporate Sing-Along and Gifts that we had always wanted to do originally. We even added a bonus track - an alternate version of Artificial Need that was originally released on a comp somewhere. Listening back, that alternate version might be the better take. You can listen and decide for yourself.
Anyway, enough of this self-indulgent ramble. Download the album for free, burn it to a CD (if people still do that) and give it to some friends, share the link on social media, do whatever you like.
Thanks for listening!
